Again, thanks for the great, detailed info.

You're right, the PSC cards are now available at an inexpensive price.

I must ask, I noticed this on the 3.21 Driver Download:

You should use the latest version of the ATTO Configuration Tool and flash file to update the adapter after installing the driver update.


Have you been able to add SCSI devices without first re-booting? If so, that is great news, and overcomes a long-standing shortcoming of OS X.

One more question ... for now.

I'm guessing that your SCSI CD/RW unit is 50-pin. Where are you placing this on the SCSI chain and are you using a 68-50 pin adapter with high byte termination?

Check that. I realize (too late) that your optical drive is ATAPI, not SCSI.
